Daylilies

I have so many varieties of daylilies it's hard to choose which ones I like best.

I like to read the Olallie Daylily Garden catalog and dream about what daylilies I want to order.

Love to Garden

Crocus in early Spring
Gardening is one of my passions. I especially love perennials. Here in Minnesota we can only garden about 3 months out of the year if we're lucky, so that makes gardening even more precious to me. I started this blog to share some photos of my garden and my thoughts on gardening. One of my favorite times of year is spring, when plants are first starting to bloom. Here's a crocus in my yard- one of the first signs of spring!

I love bunnies but my garden doesn't

How can they be so cute-- yet so destructive? I love cute bunnies and seeing them in my yard but I don't like it when they eat up my plants! Please go somewhere else bunnies and find another yard to live in. smile

Happy Hosta

I don't have a lot of different shades of foliage in my yard and could use more silvery or light colors.  Here is a gorgeous Hosta though in shades of chartreuse, rimmed with a darker teal.

About Gardening

One of my favorite things about gardening is seeing my perennials in full bloom. Here is a photo of my Coreopsis in bloom- in mid-June.
